Chou, Jennifer


Jennifer Chou received her B.S. in biological sciences and psychology from Carnegie Mellon University in 2007. During her undergraduate education, she studied neuronal development in various model systems. After graduation, Jennifer worked at Merck in their automated biotechnology department where she served as an assay development scientist for high-throughput screens of small molecules that induce stem cell differentiation. In the Fall of 2008, she entered the ACCESS program at UCLA and after completing her first year of coursework and rotations, she joined Dr. Rita Effros's lab studying the role of T lymphocytes on lipid-mediated bone loss.
