UCLA provides plentiful subsidized graduate housing.  For example, Weyburn Terrace Housing consists of 840 units for single graduate students on the edge of campus in Westwood Village.  Subsidized oriented housing is also available.  In addition, there are also plentiful living accommodations nearby in non-university owned apartments and houses.
